I have been in property management personally since the early 1990's and have been a licensed broker for 10 years in California. I recently obtained a California General Contractors License; I am looking forward to expanding in this area. Prior to starting this company, I spent 27 years in grocery store management, enabling me to help form a solid, efficient operation within our business. I enjoy traveling, swap meets, and collecting Tonka trucks for my grandchildren.
Hi! My name is Meagan Walker and I am the CFO for First Choice. I have been in the background with First Choice since 2005 and full-time since 2010. With nearly ten years of operational and financial management, I have become fluent in the development and implementation of policies and procedures and financial analysis for both individuals and corporate companies. I have previous experience in international business start up and expansion and this has afforded me the opportunity to learn to work with people from all over the world. When I am not working, I am a wife and mother to two beautiful boys and I enjoy fitness. I hope to one day have a non-profit for special needs children and to help increase awareness and provide desperately needed resources for these families.
My name is Candace Beaver and I am the Property Manager for First Choice and have been with the company since 2013. I have been a licensed real estate salesperson in California since 2004. During my time in the real estate industry I have specialized in home sales and purchases, mortgage lending, and property management. My extensive background in lending gives me added insight when evaluating applicants for a property. My real estate sales experience also adds to our ability to accurately provide the market rate of rental homes. Also, as the in-office sales specialist I am able to assist owners looking to sale their investment property, or purchase a new one. I have a love for fast cars, the Dallas Cowboys, and traveling, with my eyes set on backpacking through Europe one day.
Hi, my name is Lisa Allen and I am the Accounting Coordinator at First Choice and have been here since 2009. I have over 20 years in the customer service and accounting industry that enable me to have a solid foundation in my position with First Choice. I enjoy working with both owners and tenants and getting to know each person a little more each time we get the opportunity to interact. I also have had the opportunity to delve into almost every department within the company and love what I do. Outside of work, my passion is bowling. I bowl in several leagues and I am still seeking the "Perfect 300 Game" with a personal high score of 257.
Hi, my name is Carole Wayne. I have worked at First Choice since 2010 and I am the Office Coordinator and am primarily responsible for file and records management. Previously, I was employed at the Sears Auto Center in Riverside, CA for 23 years in sales and service, which provided me with great experience in working with the public. I also worked part time at a ceramic shop on and off, which allowed me to spend time doing what I loved most, ceramics! I was retired prior to working at First Choice, but have found I enjoy having my job and coming to work a few days a week outside of the home since all of my children are long grown!
